Craving something sweet, fruity, and with a salty miso note? And something easy to prepare?
Get inspired by another original recipe from Yuhi Che, which we’re once again very grateful for!
Ingredients:
- Figs – 4 pieces
- Poppy miso – 1-2 teaspoons
- Chopped nuts (any kind) – 1 tablespoon
- Any creamy cheese or quark (as shown in the photo)
- Lemon juice from half a lemon
- Honey – 1 tablespoon
Method:
- Score the figs from the top into quarters (just a cut, don’t slice all the way).
- Fill the resulting space between the cuts with cheese and nuts.
- Mix the lemon juice and poopy miso and add it the same way as in the previous step.
- Drizzle honey on top and bake for 6-10 minutes at 175-180°C, depending on how “melty” you want the figs to be.
Serve as a unique sweet treat or on its own for snacking. Enjoy!
