Chicken with basil koji

If you were intrigued by the Basil Koji recipe we shared earlier, here’s another translated recipe by Yuhi Che where you can use it right away.

 

Ingredients:

 

Method:

  1. Slice the chicken breast (as you would for cutlets)
  2. Marinate the slices in basil koji, place them in a sealable heat-resistant bag, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight
  3. Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add the sealed bag with the chicken slices and turn off the heat
  4. Cover the pot with a lid and let it sit for 30–40 minutes

 

That’s it. Once done, you can serve the chicken immediately — for example, with a fresh salad or your favorite side dish.
