Another recipe from Japan for Czech meat lovers. It combines a great shiokoji marinade with your favorite miso.
Ingredients:
- Pork slices – 400 g
- Shiokoji – 1 tablespoon
- Sake or white wine – 1 tablespoon
- Miso (your favorite) – 1 tablespoon
- Mirin (if available) – 1 tablespoon
- Sugar or honey – 2 teaspoons
- Mashed or grated garlic – 1 teaspoon
- Grated ginger – 1 teaspoon
- Oil for frying
Method:
- Mix all ingredients except for the oil
- Marinate the meat in the mixture for about 1 hour
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add oil
- Fry the meat until it develops a nice golden-brown color
You can also add lightly sautéed onions if you like.
