Fried potatoes with shiokoji and garlic

Yuhi Che, an amazing Japanese woman who has been living in Brno for over ten years, continues to provide us with great recipes that combine simplicity and flavor. We're happy that she chooses our ingredients for them, and even happier that she shares these recipes with us, as they can inspire you too 😊 Just like this variation of potatoes with garlic and shiokoji.

 

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes – 300 g
  • Shiokoji – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Herbs or Nori – to taste
  • Olive oil for frying


Method:

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces.
  2. Cook the potatoes (in a pot or steam them) for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan, add the potatoes, and fry them until they turn brown.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients (crush the garlic) and mix well. Let it rest for a few minutes on the turned-off pan.
  5. You can serve it right away.
