Strawberries with shiokoji

This is the recipe we’ve been waiting for. We love strawberries—who doesn’t? 😊 Classic uses are great and never get boring, but this one has a slightly salty umami twist… You’ll want to try this! Thanks, Yuhi!

 

Ingredients:

  • Strawberries – 500 g
  • Shiokoji – 3–5 tablespoons
  • Fresh herbs to taste (here, rosemary)

 

Method:

  1. Wash the strawberries and remove the leaves
  2. Mix the strawberries with shiokoji and place in a clean container along with the herbs
  3. Leave in the fridge for a few hours

 

You can enjoy them on their own as a dessert (highly recommended), as a snack with wine, in a salad, or even for baking.
