Tomato salad with rice and miso dressing

 

Ingredients for the salad:

  • Cooked rice – 300 g
  • Red onion – 1 medium
  • Tomatoes – 4 pcs
  • Wakame – 3 tbsp
  • Basil – to taste
  • Sorrel – to taste
  • Sesame seeds – to taste

 

Ingredients for the miso dressing:

 
Method:
  1. Soak the wakame in water for 15 minutes.
  2. Finely grate the ginger against the grain.
  3. Finely chop the red onion.
  4. Mix all dressing ingredients together in a bowl.
  5. Cut the tomatoes into eighths and marinate them in the dressing.
  6. Place the rice at the bottom of the plate, top with the marinated tomatoes, wakame, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Finish by tearing fresh basil and sorrel over the salad (coriander, oregano or dill work just as well).
  8. Enjoy your meal!
