Chicken thigh with miso sauce

Yuhi Che knows her way around miso. Today, thanks to her, we recommend a very tasty miso sauce for chicken. It’s so good that we believe you will truly fall in love with this recipe…

 

Ingredients:

  • Chicken thigh – 250 g (cut as you like)
  • Miso (here using aka pea miso) – 1 tbsp
  • White wine – 1 tbsp
  • Mirin – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – 1 tsp
  • Oil

 

Method:

  1. Mix the miso, wine, mirin, and sugar
  2. Pour oil into a pan, add the chicken, and set medium heat
  3. Cover the pan and cook for 5–7 minutes, then turn the meat and cook covered for another two minutes
  4. Turn off the heat and add the sauce to the meat
  5. Turn the heat back on to the lowest setting and warm the sauce briefly until it thickens

 

That’s it… Serve with a side dish of your choice, for example, a vegetable salad.
